Kragerø Centre
Kragerø – ‘the pearl of the coastal towns’. New development areas and building projects offer significant opportunities for new businesses.
The town of Kragerø is a port town centrally located in Kragerø municipality. From the wharf side, you can look straight out into the Kragerø archipelago, extending all the way to Jomfruland. County road Fv38, from the E18 to the centre and the ferry port, links the islands to the town. Kragerø is a charming south-coast town with classic wooden houses and narrow streets. The town offers a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants, and is particularly lively in the summer months.
There is some housing in and close to the centre, but most new developments are in adjacent areas. The spatial challenges mean that the future development of Kragerø centre will move northwards towards Stilnestangen, where there is plenty of space for new development.
